Where is Rinsey cove?
The National Trust owned Rinsey Cove is positioned in the lee of Rinsey head, between Praa Sands and Porthleven. It is fairly remote and somewhat off the beaten track meaning it is very rarely busy. At low tide there is a lovely little sandy beach here although it all but disappears towards high tide.
Can you swim at Rinsey Cove?
Swimming out of Porthleven Harbour is always spectacular. Once you swim around the corner you’re greeted by an underground forest of seaweed and boulders. As you pass the first corner you can follow the spectacular cliffs and rock formations for a good mile and a half.
