Is field maps replacing Survey123?

Did you spot the apps that Field Apps won’t ultimately replace? Survey123 and Quickcapture support distinct styles of data capture and will continue as separate apps. Field Maps will support app linking, like the other field apps, so workflows that include Survey123 or QuickCapture will still work.

At your location with GPS averaging

1. Enable GPS averaging in the settings in Field Maps.
2. Open the map of your assets or observations.
3. Tap Add .
4. Choose the type of asset or observation to capture.
5. If you need to update the location, tap Start averaging (for single places) or Update selected point (in the Overflow menu.

How do you set up a field map?

In the app launcher, click Field Maps.

1. The Maps page opens, displaying maps you own.
2. Click Content to open the Content page.
3. Next, you’ll configure the settings for the map.
4. Finally, you’ll share the map so mobile workers can access it in the Field Maps mobile app.
