How do I get to Honaunau Bay?
Directions to Honaunau Bay Turn off Highway 11 at the Kona Coffeehouse & Cafe between the 104 and 103 mile markers. Drive down the hill 3.5 miles (5.5k). Turn left toward Pu’uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, then right up the one way street just prior to entering the Park.
Why is it called Two Step beach?
We like the name Two Steps because it describes the natural rock steps that most people use to get access into the water. This spot, several miles south of Kealakekua Bay on the Kona side of the island, is very popular.
